Federal Defenders of new york

Inspiring Positive Change, One Conversation at a Time.

Empowering individuals and communities through impactful speaking engagements, education, and advocacy.

Gerald "Prince" Miller recently sat down with summer interns from the Federal Defenders of New York, an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality legal representation to individuals facing federal criminal charges who cannot afford private counsel. Serving clients throughout the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the organization is widely respected for its client-centered approach and commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of those navigating the federal justice system. During the discussion, Prince explored the realities of federal criminal defense, the challenges faced by defendants, and the critical role that skilled legal advocacy plays in ensuring fairness and justice within the federal courts.

Gerald Prince Miller explains how Federal Defenders fought for his case.
